Rotary donates $1,000 to challenge
On Saturday September 21, 2013 Mareeba Rotary donated $1,000 to the FNQ Hospital Foundation Cardiac Challenge. Mareeba Rotary members cooked up a story for the nealry 600 riders and volunteers on Saturday morning at Rotary Park.
McGrath awarded Rotary Sapphire
Tablelands Regional Council Deputy Mayor and lifetime Mareeba Rotarian Cr Evan McGrath OAM was awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Sapphire on Wednesday August 7,in front of more than 60 people at the Mareeba Bowls Club.
Wheelie mad wheelbarrow race
In May of each year, the Tablelands plays host to The Great Wheelbarrow Race and every year for as long as Mareeba Rotary can remember they have had a team compete in the iconic race, and in the last few years it has always been two teams.
